Create structured sessions that support concentration without overloading your day.

The Focus Session Blueprint

  1. Set intention: define one outcome, for example, "draft project outline".
  2. Remove distractions: silence non-essential notifications for the session.
  3. Choose a timer: pick 25, 45, or 90 minutes based on cognitive demand.
  4. Take micro-break: 2-5 minutes to reset posture and eyes.

Session Lengths & Flow

Focus completion rate = completed sessions / planned sessions x 100%

Example: 6 completed / 8 planned x 100% = 75% completion rate.
